- Trial dates advertised on relevant web sites
- Players on current data base invited to trials.
- Players attend trials and are named in East / West 1st team or 2nd team.
- Both East v West games are played.
- Best performers are added to the previous years South of England Squad.
- South of England 35 man squad is named.
- South of England play North of England.
- Best Performers may be selected for either England Lionhearts or Emerging England.
- Players who perform well in Emerging England move to England Lionhearts.
- Best performers in England Lionhearts games may be selected for the Great Britain Community Lions.
- Selected and play for the G.B. Community Lions.
